Check out an EVP caught by Craig and Rocko, which was recorded at 'The Grandstand', in Annandale - Sydney. A homeless man by the name of Reg Malvin was beaten to death here in the year 2000. The Grandstand is located directly next to, 'The Street With No Name', which has a long and gruesome past. I look forward to posting a little article on it in the near future. In the mean-time feel free to 'Click Here' and listen to what was captured on our Sony Digital Voice Recorder.

Feel free to leave a message and tell us your thoughts...

WOLLONDILLY Council was considering terminating its licence agreement with Picton Ghost Hunts at last night’s council meeting, in a move that operators say would end the business.

Council officers had recommended the council end the agreement after years of pressure from both police and residents to stop the tours to the disused Picton railway tunnel known as the mushroom tunnel - (mushrooms were produced there some years ago). Residents say they have been subjected to continuing antisocial behaviour such as egg throwing, flashing (nudity), drug taking, offensive language and excessive noise in the tunnel area. The termination of the agreement would spell the end of 13 years of Picton Ghost Hunts, a popular and successful Macarthur area tourist attraction.

The business was started by the late historian, author and genealogist Liz Vincent (pictured). It takes tourists to various historic sites in the Wollondilly shire including the Upper Picton cemetery, shire hall and the mushroom tunnel.

Business owner John Vincent said: “Picton is not immune to these louts and low lifes. If the council ends the licensing agreement a major tourist attraction to the area will be lost.”

But Picton resident Guy Adamson, who lives near the tunnel, said until such time as the issues of civil disobedience were solved, residents could not condone ghost tours visiting the Mushroom Tunnel.
