Investigating Your Property...
_
Experiencing inexplicable occurrences, especially for untrained observers, can be extremely unpleasant and confusing. Emotions can be easily amplified particularly when one observer is singled out i.e. when only one or two members of the family are seemingly experiencing events outside the realm of normality.
It is true that not everyone is supportive and those who face these paranormal activities will, in most cases, feel isolated.
Because paranormal investigations (meaning beyond-normal, which is not exclusive to hauntings or any other psi phenomena) is not a recognised field in Australia, it lacks any form of national standard. Therefore it is not uncommon to hear of unethical, unprofessional and misleading practices. W.S.P.R strongly believes that a set of standards should be implemented to avoid malpractice and to protect the clients who request these investigations, whether it’s public or private property. Although this will require many years of laborious effort, mainly breaking through ‘solid walls’ of resistance from organisations and individuals, these standards should be available for the information of those requesting an inquiry through the right channels and demanding that certain standards be employed during an investigators visit and investigation to your home/property.
What are some of these standards?
Please note that W.S.P.R share the same Code of Conducts regarding Professional and Ethical conduct whilst conducting investigations in Paranormal activity, with the crew at: VALIDATE.

What are some of these standards?
- Professional and ethical conduct
- Sound knowledge and experience within the field – years of experience may not necessarily equate to knowledge. To establish a basic understanding of any such organisation, it is recommended to carefully study any literature published or displayed on the representative website.
- Second or third opinion – If you question the outcome of an enquiry or investigation, it is recommended that you obtain a second or third opinion from a respected organisation or academic institution. You should feel free to question any definitive outcomes and ask whether the representative/s is/are willing to have their results scrutinised by a respected organisation or academic institution.
- Please be aware that counselling should only be conducted by registered therapists, counsellors or psychologists.

What are the steps in gaining assistance in regards to your property?
1. There are several ways to make contact with the WSPR Organisation in gaining assistance. The easiest ways are to go to the 'Contact Us' page on this site and fill in the appropriate form. (Please remember to give us as much details as possible when filling these forms in.) OR... you can email our Case Managers (CM) directly. The easiest email contact is: solutions@westsydneyparanormal.org - again, give us as much details as possible, along with your best contact details.
2. You will be contacted by one of the WSPR CM's at their earliest convenience. Please be patient, as we all work full-time jobs also. The CM's will organise a time where they can interview you briefly over the phone. In some cases issues regarding paranormal activity or possible paranormal activity can be solved during these phone interviews. If recommended by the Case Managers the case may be escalated to a Lead Investigator.
3. The Lead Investigator (LI) may find it necessary to make an appointment to meet with you. If this is the Case, more formal interviews will be conducted with you and any witnesses to any occurances. Hopefully, during this meeting, questions can be answered and some mysteries solved.
4. Our major question to you will always be... 'What do you want achieved by making conatct with us?'. Once we have the answer to this question, and have gone through all reports and interviews, the LI's may find it necessary to conduct a fully documented investigation.
5. The Investigation. Every investigation is different! Your CM and LI will liase with you in regards to YOUR specific investigation and the details regarding this.
6. The crew will then analyse all data and documentation from the investigation/s. *Please see below in notes, for details on evidence review*
7. After the investigation/s you will be contacted by your CM or LI and another appointment will be made to discuss our results and findings IF ANY! We will pass on to you our findings and reports - It is then up to you what you do with the information.
PLEASE NOTE:
- We CANNOT and WILL NOT guarantee that we can solve and 'fix' any issues you may be having. This is important to remember, as every case is different, and nothing can be guaranteed in this field. Be aware of anyone that does make guarantees regarding solutions.
- Activity in regards to paranormal phenomena DOES NOT happen on demand! It may take two or three investigations to get the required results to analyse.
- In terms of reviewing evidence and data from your investigation - This can be a long and timely process. Depending on the investigation, it is possible for us to end up with over 40 hrs of video footage to sort through and analyse. We can have the same type of hours with audio recordings. We really do ask for your patience in this matter, as we thoroughly review all data, some times triple checking everything. Your CM will be able to advise you on how the review is going.
