Investigation of an Un-disclosed Location - 02.04.2011 (A Summary)

On Saturday 2nd April 2011, we were invited by Attila and Andrea Kaldy from 'Validate', to investigate an un-disclosed location. Validate has been and investigated this location before, however it was W.S.P.R's first time here. Unfortunately, Nicky and Craig P were the only ones that could make this investigation on this occasion.
Both Nicky and Craig have described this location as being by far the creepiest and spookiest location they've investigated to date. Nicky actually states that at no time did she feel comfortable or relaxed on site... And that both inside and outside the property were equally terrifying.
We can understand how people report alot of paranormal activity at this location. The site itself, along with old abandoned buildings really does set the scene for your typical haunted location.
A Female Conversation
One of the first experiences we had on the night, happened in the main building where both teams had equipment set-up. Andrea and Nicky had both left the site to return to our accomodation for a bite to eat. Whilst the ladies were gone, Craig P and Attila, remained on site to set-up more equipment. During the set-up, both Attila and Craig heard a conversation between two women. We are unsure of what was said, however, we were aware that there were clearly two female voices, one of which appeared to be slightly louder than the other. Attila and Craig, upon hearing this conversation had immediately assumed that Nicky and Andrea had returned. Craig and Attila went to meet the ladies at the car, only to discovered that they hadn't returned as yet! Nicky and Andrea were the only two women on site... Where did these voices come from?
3am Deadtime
At around 3am the two teams were located at our 'base' site, monitoring the two DVR systems that had been set-up around the location. As we were sat on the ground floor of a two-level building, we started to hear footsteps, banging and voices emanating from the upper level. It was extremely clear, however no movement was captured on the DVR systems. It was quite evident that the site was starting to come to life! It was quite a surreal experience to hear all of this comotion going on above our heads, but not witnessing any movement on the cameras what-so-ever.
The Outside
Outside the buildings in the dark of night, you could not help but have the feeling that you were being constantly watched. Nicky and Craig clearly heard the sound of footsteps on a number of occasions outside, however they were not able to capture any evidence of it. We must also remember that animals unseen at night would have been plentiful and were most likely the cause of these footsteps. An extremely eerie place to be though...
Ward 9
Witness one of Nicky and Craig's experiences within the complete darkness of Ward 9 below. Craig P states, "This was by far the darkest and spookiest location I've ever been to, to date. I was on edge the entire time we were investigating Ward 9, and the hallway itself made the corridors of Maitland Gaol feel like Disneyland."
Even though the temperature was cold on this particular evening, there were times when we were investigating Ward 9, that the temerature dropped dramatically for a short period. It was as if someone had opened a freezer door. We had to keep in mind, that some of the windows were broken and a door was open. It is hard for us to relate these temperature drops to anything paranormal due to these conditions.
